is also known as ‘Hiron point’. UNESCO declared three
wildlife Sanctuaries ( Sundarban east, south and west) in the Sundarban
as 522nd World Heritage Site in 1997 and the plaque of world heritage
site is located here. Tourists can enjoy the natuaral beauty of
the mangrove forest as well as can observe a number of wildlife
like tiger, monkey, crocodiles, otter, king cobra, birds etc. There
is a rest house at Nilkamal. |
